Edavaka Mission

Matthew 28:18-20 (New King James Version)
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

The Edavaka Mission forms a localised initiative of The Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelistic Association which was founded in 1924 as part of the Marthoma Church the focus of the movement is to encourage all members to lead a life that is a witness to Christ. This is to be a disciple of Christ being uncompromised whilst living in the world not being conformed to it. Also the cultivation of a life that provides an example for others, those look at your life as a life of follower of Christ. This cultivation is achieved by the study and application of Gods word in ones life. This equips the believer to take the opportunity to preach the gospel enabling any person irrespective of differences to come into contact with God through Jesus Christ through his Word.

If you have any ideas to further the evangelical mission then either contact the Vicar or Secretary (see, “CONTACT US” menu).
